Mash Up 1:
TOY SOLDIERS + CRAIG VAN HISE + MIRO

The Miro Dance Theatre Mash-Up Series is an experiment combining live music and dance- prepared fresh and served raw. Each experiment has Miro in the studio with a rock band and a composer, and on the fourth day we emerge to share the results for a brave audience who will experience a never to be repeated performance. You don't want to miss these one-of-a-kind events.

The series begins in conjunction with the soulful, garage rock, roots sound of Toy Soldiers.Bruce Warren of WXPN says, "[Toy Soldiers] bring to mind Shangri-La era Kinks, Nashville Skyline-era Dylan, Bright Eyes and the Black Keys, The Coasters and Carl Perkins." Plus, the dramatic flair of Craig Van Hise (producer of Man Man's Six Demon Bag) is being thrown into the mix.

cinco de miro 3: NOT SO STRICTLY BALLROOM.
NO Dance Experience required, Here's how it goes:

Raise $1000 in pledges (for a great cause)
Get matched with a professional dancer
Learn some fancy footwork and compete for huge trophies
